HBF Intel

A research capability built around provenance, repeatable methodology and publication controls.

This is a development-stage project brief. It is not a live market feed or a published score report.

The product opportunity

Bring housing and economic observations into a reusable research workflow: organize sources, calculate derived measures, compare changes over time and prepare a reviewable market narrative.

The goal is an owned intelligence product that can support decisions and original research. Potential vendor-cost savings would depend on data coverage, licensing and validation; they are not demonstrated savings.

The technical approach

Source provenance

Source and period metadata keep observations distinguishable from derived measures.

Repeatable methodology

Scoring and historical-validation work make assumptions and methodology changes inspectable.

Publication boundaries

Snapshots and review controls separate internal analytical work from material cleared for publication.

Evidence-led narrative

Rule-based narrative fallback is part of the approach. Live AI narrative generation still needs end-to-end verification.

Why it is in this portfolio

It extends the same source-to-decision architecture into a research product: collection, normalization, methodology, evidence and a controlled output. It demonstrates product direction alongside the working implementations elsewhere in the portfolio.
